The Elimination Diet is a diet without inflammatory or processed foods. It serves as a medical treatment to reduce inflammation. When the body is not inflamed, it can begin to heal. It is the gold standard for determining food allergies and sensitivities when followed by a reintroduction phase.

RAW FOOD
WHAT IS RAW FOOD?
The raw food diet is eating fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, seeds and oils in delicious, beautiful and creative ways. It is based on the principle that temperatures greater than 117 degrees Fahrenheit denature enzymes, deplete nutrients and produce toxic chemicals. By keeping the enzymatic and nutritional content of food intact, we are receiving more nutrition to support good health, while avoiding the disease producing compounds of cooked food.
Raw food is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, protein and vital life force. It doesn't have any of the toxic compounds that come from cooking such as acrolein, acrylamide, furans, nitrosamines, hydrocarbons, benzopyrene and HNE (4-hydroxy-trans-noneal). It can be a full-time diet, part of a regular diet or used for a period of time as a detox.
A 100% raw food diet is not for everyone. Our diet is dependent on many things like climate, income, location and beliefs. In my practice, I like to honour the needs of individuals while we work together to improve your health.
