Breakfast
Water Fast – until noon
Intermittent fasting has several benefits for many conditions including: diabetes, chronic pain, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, SIBO, IBS, IBD, celiac disease, Parkinson's, Alzheimers, hypoglycaemia.
Anti-inflammatory Tea - ingredients: Fresh ginger, tumeric, garlic, rosemary, orange slice. Directions: Add 4 cups of water to a pot, add in 6 slices of ginger, 4 slices of tumeric, 1 clove of garlic, 1 sprig of rosemary and bring to a boil. Simmer 15 on medium, lid on. Pour into a cup and add orange slice, enjoy.
Berry Good Smoothie – Ingredients: 1 cup any berry, 1 cup coconut milk, 1 tbs coconut oil, handful of any nut or nut butter, 2 slices of ginger, 1 handful of kale and some water for desired thickness. Add into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. Drink immediately.
Banana Pancakes -
Ingredients:
1 c Almond flour
1-2 bananas
2 eggs
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups almond milk
Directions: add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend on high until smooth. Add water as necessary until desired consistency. Top with some coconut oil (keto!!), a bit of salt and some maple syrup.

Snacks
Ants on a Log
Protein packed snack for post exercise, between meals or lunch! Ingredients: Celery sticks Almond or nut butter Coconut oil Raisins, currants or cranberries Cinnamon Directions: wash and cut celery sticks in half, load in nut butter and top with coconut oil, dried fruit and cinnamon Hummus with added oil (olive or avocado) |
Spirulina/Acai Superfood Energy Balls
- Super food snack, breakfast to go, one-a-day for health! Ingredients: 1/2 cup Walnuts 1/2 cup Almonds 1 cup pitted Dates 1/2 cup un-sweetened dried cranberries 1 tbs Coconut flakes 1 tbs Spirulina 1/2 tbs Acai powder 2 tbs Chia seeds 1 tbs Maca root 1 tbs Coconut oil Directions - add all the ingredients into a blender. Blend on low for 30 seconds and then on medium for another 30 until the ingredients are finely chopped. Remove from the blender and create ball shapes by rolling between two hands. This warms the coconut oil which helps to keep the ingredients together. Place on a plate as you shape them, cool 30 minutes for a firmer consistency. Eat 1/day for a highly antioxidant, protein powered, fiber, snack! |
