Would you like more support and preparation? I have put together this Prenatal course for women and their partners and birth supports. The 9 months leading up to becoming a parent for the first time, or a parent in a new way to more than one child is a journey of both preparation & embodiment. By taking this course you mark the course of your journey at regular intervals by checking in together, increasing your knowledge and awareness and staying in touch with a birth support guide.
- Where I came from, my ancestry and cultural and familial practices around birth, my healthy pregnancy (nutrition, supplements, exercise), what to avoid during pregnancy,
- Birthing options, informed consent, birth plans, the role of the partner
- Preparing for birth: physically, mentally emotionally, herbal and homeopathic supports (mother's cordial, peri-rinse, salve, oral dosing)
- Taking care of new baby: post birth, diaper changing, washing baby, safe sleep
This course is web based, unless you are located in my region, where we may meet together if possible. They will be a discussion together, with participation from you and your partner/support person. It's a time to learn more about the pregnancy process and birth experience to help prepare you fully to step into your supported role as new parent.
